Mansour Kiarash: Hi, we are beside you with another 8minute Talk Show. Today we are going to talk to Mr.Mostafaei who is the marketing manager at Derma clean Group.

Hi, You are welcome.

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: Hello, thanks for your invitation. I’m Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei, I feel honored to be with you today.

Mansour kiarash: I’d appreciate it if you explain about your career.

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: I’ve been working in cosmetics and hygienic fields for 15 years then I worked as a marketing manager in another company and I’m working as Dermacleans branding manager at Tabiat zendeh.

Mansour Kiarash: Very well, We are proud that you are here. I do have a question, What was the most complicated challenge you’ve faced in marketing or strategy?

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: We have different types of challenges in the marketing and strategy fields. One of them is, there isn’t enough information about marketing in our society which is a big challenge. Another is our limitation in marketing and advertising. The last is our uncooperative interior offices, Many people believe that the marketing department should just spend money. In my point of view, the genius and leader of a department is its marketing manager.

The marketing department defines the organizations’ strategy during a special period and goals are being planned by this strategy.

I’ve seen many organizations which don’t believe in this theory, they do accept what the CEO says and they are more like a sales team than marketing.

I think the lack of awareness and knowledge that we face in different organizations is a problem which many of our friends don’t want to earn this knowledge or even read a book about that field. We prepare some training classes in our organization to fulfill this gap.

Mansour Kiarash: I think that preparing such classes will help you to solve the interior office challenges.

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: Exactly. These classes aren’t especially for the sales team, It’s for all people in our organization and we’ll persuade them to work in the marketing field. A manager should know his industry and market. As an example, if I know my market I can easily share the product with my customer.

Last year we had a limitation problem in advertising for Inlay. We wanted to rent some billboards unfortunately, we faced some problems with the ministry of Ershad. We tried different pictures but didn’t work. In the end, we used a picture of a mirror, and it turned into a symbol for Inlay cosmetics. Fortunately, we got good feedback from that advertisement in marketing, branding, and sale. by the way, our campaign was in Tehran and we sold many of our products.

Mansour Kiarash: It would be so nice of you if you introduce some study resources for those bachelors in this field to help them reach a good level of marketing knowledge or those books which had a great impression on you.

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: I am reading “blue ocean strategy” by Renée Mauborgne which is about marketing strategy. It’s a useful book and I wish that our friends read this book and enjoy it.

Mansour Kiarash: What habitual features will lead a person into achieving a high-level management position or help to grow well?

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: by observing the market, reading books, raising your knowledge and, using it practically you can achieve a good level. I do believe that we should have an active marketing manager, if not we’ll face many problems. We faced a problem with one of our competitors last month and we were close to losing our market as they had a strategic product and they were selling well. If we didn’t observe and search about their market we would have lost on Bahman month.

Mansour Kiarash: Thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge with us. I wanted to know whether you can introduce an expert and knowledgeable friend to us who can interview with us in the next talk show, or not?

Mohammad Saleh Mostafaei: I’d be very happy if you let me introduce two people to you. The first is Mr.Moazezi who is the sales manager at Tabiat Zendeh Laboratories and the second is Mr.Vakil who is the Chief sales manager at Tabiat Zendeh Laboratories, too.
