Mansour Kiarash: in this talk show we are going to talk to a marketing manager who is working at a famous distribution company in Iran, I’d like to introduce dear Mehdi Alinejad to you. Hello dear.
Mehdi Alinejad: Hello.
Mansour Kiarash: You are welcome.
Mehdi Alinejad: Thank You, it’s a pleasure to meet you.
Mansour Kiarash: Thanks. It’s our honor. I’d be happy if you introduce yourself.
Mehdi Alinejad: I’m Mehdi Alinejad and I’ve been working in the Marketing field at Golrang Industrial company for 12 years. I’m working as a sales marketing manager in the Active company now.
Mansour Kiarash: Very well, I’m very glad you’re here. I’d rather know what was the biggest challenge you’ve dealt with as a marketing manager during your job career?
Mehdi Alinejad: you face a lot of unpredictable challenges in the distribution company daily as you are in relation with your customers in the market so you should find a way to solve it. Daily challenges have become our routine and It’s a part of our job.
The most important challenge is the interoffice issues in some fields such as; management, human resource, and structure. We should mix different features for creating a new strategy in the marketing then we can achieve the result.
There are some features which we can’t affect them such as politics, economics, and social issues. There are some other features which we affect them but we can’t control and they contain competitors, customers, and market. The only issue that we can control is the company. Our system and organization have a great influence on our job. If we fill the gaps and solve the problems in our system we can grow well and solve the issues. As you know we’ve been limited during the last few years. Our competitor has created lots of advertisements and has made a coherent plan so what should we do to compete with it? Surely we should plan a new strategy, search for new information and pay attention to other marketing fields. Our competitor is one step aside as it has planned sooner but if we are an updated organization we can find our effective strength and plan an excellent strategy and fill the gap.
Mansour Kiarash: As I understood from what you said; our problems are mostly related to interoffice activities so what’s your solution for that?
Mehdi Alinejad: We try to make a better interoffice connection and let the information flows over the different layers of the organization because with this information we can get familiar with the processing of a strategy and different aspects of it or its effect on different departments of an organization.
Mansour Kiarash: What’s the effect of innovation in your job field and does it have a special structure?
Mehdi Alinejad: Innovation is an important point in the sales and marketing field.
Whenever that we plan for something we don’t wait for the result, its growth, etc, we expect it to reach some levels of our plan. this model is called the second curved model.
Mansour Kiarash: I’d be very happy if you introduce a book to us which had an effect on you or will help our visitors to reach the top level?
Mehdi Alinejad: There are many study sources in the Marketing field but I’d like to introduce “Mega Creativity” by “Andrei Aleinikov” which teaches us structured creativity.
Mansour Kiarash: what habitual features may help a marketing manager to stay at top levels?
Mehdi Alinejad: the first is the responsibility and try to solve the problem and don’t depend on others. We should pay attention to our competitors and new projects.
Mansour Kiarash: Thanks for sharing your experiences, I wanted to know whether you can introduce an expert and knowledgeable person in marketing to interview with in the next talk show, or not?
Mehdi Alinejad: I introduce Dear Kamran Bahador who is chief sales strategy manager at PSG to you.
